Marketing is more than just
buying and selling, one must keep this point in mind. It’s a very broad
field which is really important for the survival and success of any
business. For writing a marketing research paper the first step is to select
the field of study in marketing; you want to work on. Then identify the need
or problem to work on it, start researching through different channels using
primary and secondary data. Draw the conclusion from research and give
suggestions for improvement.
To write marketing research paper, there are some steps to follow:
Title Page
On the title page, you have to write “Title of the report” first which
should start with capital letter and capitalized each letter of title and it
must be aligned centrally. After title you have to write your name,
instructor’s name, course and the submission date. You can use any of the
research formats like MLA, APA, Turbian, Chicago etc.
Table of Contents
Table of content will make the reader’s work easier. You have to list all of
your sections and sub sections, heading and subheading with the page numbers
Introduction
An introduction must be interesting enough which attract the reader to go
through whole report. It must be simple and concise, all relevant
information should be included. In an introduction you have to briefly
explain the problem, aim of writing the report, the question you will answer
in this report, the importance of subject, analysis and interpretations and
the research process you will use to make a comprehensive research report
Main Body
Main body is the core of report and will be lengthy where you will work with
sections and sub sections. It will include the interpretation of your study,
primary literature, methodological problems, current state of research and
your analysis on finding.
In marketing report you have to cover all the related areas like planning on
four “Ps” (product, price, place and promotion), sales, advertising and
promotion, brand management, consumer behavior corporate communication and
so on.
Conclusion:
In the end you have to state the problem and the found solution from your
research. There will be the observations and interpretations where you will
explain the strength and weaknesses of your research. And you have to end up
with the recommendations you need is important to be implemented.
