Term Paper on The Room Was Vacant

I walked into the room, and absorbed its aura. The quietness and
peacefulness was settling into my very being. A room that can be described
so much by its light and sound. It fills me with what it can be, the
potentials it offers. I look at every nook and corner and visualize the
settings. The high ceiling adds to the regal ness of the room. I took in the
long stretch of wall painted a pearly white and smell the scent of fresh
paint.
Moving my eye from that corner I skimmed over to the next wall with tall
French windows lined up, soft light filtering into the room. I imagine the
curtains that would blow gently in the breeze; but no, there are no curtains
just tall windows allowing the light coming into the room. The wooden floor
would look that much better covered with rugs in warm colors spread across
the room. Here I detected a crack running from the top of the window towards
the ceiling, which the paint did not cover.
There on my eye moved to the third wall and I was certain it would look so
much better with a huge fireplace glowing with warm embers, spreading its
warmth to the occupants in the winter evenings. Instead, just the same
continued white space looked back at me.
